JL Transactions

Privacy policy

This page describes the personal data we process on this website.

1. Who processes your data

Your data is processed by JL Transactions, whose identity and contact details appear in the legal notice. For any question: contact@jltransactions.com.

2. Contact and valuation forms

When you write to us through a form on this website, we receive the information you enter (name, email address, phone number, message and, for a valuation, the characteristics of the property). It is used only to reply to you and to follow up on your request. It is read by the agency's team.

3. Rental application

If you submit a rental application from a property page, we process: your email address, your preferred move-in date, your presentation, the identity of the tenants and guarantors, and the supporting documents you upload (proof of identity, proof of address, payslips, tax assessments, rent receipts, proof of income) or the link to your DossierFacile.

This information is used only to review your application to rent that property, at your request. We do not ask for bank details, a health insurance card or bank statements: please do not upload them.

Your documents are kept in private storage. They can only be viewed by the team members in charge of lettings, after signing in, and every access is logged. They are not passed on to the owner of the property or to third parties without you being informed.

Retention periods:

  • an application that was started but never sent is deleted after 14 days without any change;
  • if your application is not successful, your documents are deleted 90 days after its review is closed;
  • if your application is successful, your file is kept for drawing up and managing the lease.

The personal link you receive by email gives access to your application: do not forward it.

4. Your rights

You can ask to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing or to object to it, by writing to contact@jltransactions.com. In particular, you can ask for your rental application to be deleted at any time.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
